Gary Pinkerton talks with Dr. John Paitakes, who has spent 50+ years working in criminal justice, and an Adjunct Professor at Rider University. He worked as a probation officer for 29 years rising to the position of Vicinage Assistant Chief Probation Officer. Upon retiring he began his second career as a Criminal Justice Professor at Seton Hall University where he taught 21 different criminal justice courses. He is presently serving his second term as an Alternate Parole Board member for the New Jersey State Parole Board. He has written numerous articles on a variety of criminal justice issues and has appeared on radio and television programs as a criminal justice expert.
